Dr. Alexandrakis performed his undergraduate work in Physics at Oxford University. He then obtained Master’s and PhD degrees in Medical Physics from McMaster University in Canada. He was postdoctoral fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School and UCLA before joining the faculty at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006. His research is focused on developing ultra-sensitive nanosensors for screening protein-ligand interactions to personalize cancer immunotherapy and on novel portable brain imaging methods for pediatric applications.
